PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION:
Spidey returns to drop into your caching scene. No bench this time -- Spidey is trying to be more stealthy at this location.
The lock box is very easy to solve on site. BYOP and log extraction tool. A flashlight would also be helpful. You may also need a step up to reach the lock box, so I provided an 8" concrete block for you to stand on if you are vertically challenged. (If that is not enough, I suggest throwing several pieces of thick lumber into a back pack to make it more comfortable for you to work the lock box)
If you choose to approach from the south, there is a faint trail on the north edge (N41 50.250 W87 56.416) of a large field just north of "The Pinball Wizard". The trail meanders north and west to get you through most of the bush. Stay as close as you can to the creek.
If you choose to approach from the east, the trailhead is at N41 50.369 W87 56.163. Just follow the fence line, but this is also not a slam dunk. I must admit, however, that this approach is easier and more scenic. Either way you will encounter some bushwacking. Approach the cache site carefully -- it is protected by a ring of wild raspberry and we all know they are nasty!
After cracking the code on the lock box (OK, look at the hint if you need to), BE GENTLE in removing the front panel. It pulls straight off the front when the correct word appears in the slot. You may need to wiggle the panel a bit. THE CACHE IS NOT IN THE LOCK BOX.
After doing your thing to reach the cache container, PLEASE reestablish the unlocking code before attaching the front panel. (You know -- the code you used to open it)
Don't forget to pull down the rods all the way when done. They should read "TOP, SPI, DER"
