In 2013 I had a goal of being first to find on at least one cache on 1/1, 2/2, 3/3, and so on. With a lot of stressful days, a little help from my friends and a lot of work on the part of Species5618 (having to put up with helping me meet my goal), I was able to meet that goal. After that I created a goal for 2014 of hiding caches on days when the month and date match. I hid one cache on 1/1, two caches on 2/2, and three caches on 3/3, etc. With hard work and a lot of help from Species5618, I kept it up all year. This is the last of my 12/12 hides so I wanted to commemorate my achievement by creating a challenge for everyone else.
Since I cannot challenge you to repeat my achievements, I have come up with a twist. To complete this challenge you must find one cache with January in the title, two caches with February in the title, three caches with March in the title, and so on and so forth. Caches where there is a number in the title representing the month are acceptable. (An example of that is the traditional cache, 10-11-12-21-11-01, GC3YGF7.) Abbreviations for the months are acceptable. Be careful, some month names like March and May have other meanings. Make sure the word or number is meant as a month and not a verb or something else; double entendres are acceptable. Caches that are not acceptable include those that have numbers with no ties to the month. Other unacceptable caches are those with titles having a string of unrelated words created just to qualify for challenge caches.
In your online “Found It” log, please include a list of caches that qualify you for this challenge cache. I'd prefer you don’t use a bookmark list.
I had a goal for 2014 of hiding caches on days when the month and date match. I hid one cache on 1/1, two caches on 2/2, three caches on 3/3, and so on. It was hard work but I was able to keep it up all year. I guess you could say this was a challenging month since many of the 12/12 hides are challenge caches. This is one of my twelve December hides. Thanks to all the cachers who have found my caches and sent messages of support and praise.
