Geocache Description:

This cache is placed in a great park in Hotchkiss, Colorado. This park has significant meaning to me for so many reason. As a youngster I lived a few houses from the park and even went to day care for quite a few years across the street. As a kid, I spent ALL summer playing on the jungle gym, playing basketball and rollerblading through the park. Since then, the playground equipment has been upgraded, but otherwise, the park remains unchanged.

As an adult, I was introduced to geocaching by my uncle. After purchasing my first GPS, this park was the location of my first smiley! It also sparked an insatiable need to find more caches. That original cache has been archived and no longer exists. Hence, I have decided to replace it. I hope you enjoy the park as much as I have over the years.

Happy hunting!

Congrats to Team kekj for the FTF!!

UPDATE 3/29/2015: Since my original cache was muggled (the same fate as the cache before) I have moved the cache to a different part of the park. I have updated the cords and the hint and also changed the name to reflect the new container. The placement is not as kid-friendly but the container and the swag is. Let's hope this one sticks around a little longer.

UPDATE 9/2/15: The cache was muggled again. I have moved the cache back to it's original location in the park but made it much more difficult to find. I have updated the name and the hint accordingly. It is no longer a kid-friendly cache. There is no room for any thing in the cache apart from a log. If this one disappears, I'll have to archive the whole thing.
