This is the third cache in a series associated with the bikepath that runs along the Geelong ringroad. The path begins in Corio, near Broderick Road, behind the Greyhound Racetrack and ends at Church Street in Herne Hill. The trees and bushes planted alongside this path are now quite established in many areas, making it a very pretty ride or walk experience. Plenty of birdlife can be seen, along with the occasional possum or bat at night time. This path is great for a family bikeride as most of the trail is flat. As it is frequented by muggles, please use discretion when searching. Also be aware that people in the properties that border the trail could see you at times from their backyards. To access this cache you could park at the end of Purnell Road, Corio or near the corner or Plantation Road and Matthews Roads in Corio. It is then an easy, relatively short, walk to GZ. Alternatively, you could access the path at any point on the trail and then ride to GZ.
Please take care not to destroy the bushes in your search!!!! It is not necessary for your feet to leave the bark mulch as you first approach GZ in order to find the cache. If you find that you are stepping on or through plants in your search you are in the wrong spot.
You are looking for a small, round container with snap lock lid. There are a couple of trades but please bring your own pen. Happy caching!!
