A small geocache in an urban area? Are you crazy? Don't answer that. When I placed this, there was an item nearby that would draw other explorers, some who might not know about geocaching. And a regular sized cache is better than a bison tube stuck in a road sign to introduce them to the sport - not that urban micros don't have their place - I've found, and enjoyed finding, quite a few urban (and not so urban) micros.
When I was scouting out my location, I saw a white squirrel amongst the regular grey squirrels that frequent Rice Park, hence the name of the cache. I tried to get a picture of that specific squirrel for my background image, but she/he is a little shy, and would run and hide in it's tree before I could get the camera on my phone ready to take a picture. While the grey squirrels will come eat out of your hand (and I AM NOT encouraging you to feed the urban wildlife), the albino will only come to within about 5-10 feet before running back to it's tree. So I'm using an image I found on the innerwebs.
The cache itself is an "Official Geocache" container.
Due to the location, please use stealth when seeking this cache! If it looks like, despite your best field craft, you can not discreetly do the cache thing here, please save it for some other day.
Cache has been registered with St. Paul Parks.
