This image will be replaced when I get a chance to visit when the light isn't shining right into the lens!
To find the cache you will firstly need to do some internet research on the related web pages. Then enter the church yard and locate two very distinctive graves. Because I'm not a fan of having to search acres of gravestones without waypoints or additional information I've provided pictures of both graves in the images - they are both close to the church building.
The cache is a short walk away at
N 51° 4A.BCD W 0° 4E.FGH
A is the number of letters in the middle name of Andrew Burnham
B is the width in feet of the restored priest’s room above the South Porch
C is the third digit of the year in which John Taylor died
D is the cost in tens of thousands of pounds of the rebuild and refurbishment of the organs in 2011
E is the second digit of the time in years that John Taylor was landscape gardener and Land Steward to the late De Rothschilds
F is the final digit of the year of the air crash in which ten American Airmen were killed
G is the second digit of the Battalion of Royal Fusiliers of Lt Burnham
H is the first digit of the weight in kilograms of the heaviest bell
UPDATE 10 February 2015 - It seems some people are having trouble finding the correct route to the cache, which is not accessible directly from the churchyard. Exit via the gate at the published co-ords and turn left into the lane. Walk to the corner of the churchyard and then follow the arrow on your GPSr, across public access land. There is no need to climb any fences!
UPDATE 23 December 2017 - The cache has been replaced in a new location a few meters from the correct solution in the checker. Once you have that location, please ADD .001 to the northings and ADD .012 to the westings.
I apologise in advance for the squalid litter you will have to walk past on the way to the cache, but the cache itself is discretely tucked away in a much more pleasant area.
As a Letterbox Hybrid, there is a self-inking stamp in the cache. This is not a trade item, and should be left in the cache.
