Geocache Description:

The eighth geocache in a series to help celebrate my daughter's 8th birthday.  She loves to go geocaching, so her party this year involves taking her and a few friends around the area so that they can experience such a great outdoor activity!

Small, camouflaged rectangular container with small items for trading.  Bring your own pen!

Channing Valley Park is tucked between Northside Drive and Howell Mill Road, and it's a cool little park.  I've used Channing Drive as a cut-through to get from Northside to Howell Mill, but I'd never really thought much about the park until hiding this cache.  It has a fair amount to offer, with a small playground and a larger green space across the creek.  Be careful of muggles...there weren't any around when I was hiding the cache, but I'm sure they appear when it's nice outside!
