Geocache Description:

Hogmanay is the Scots word for the last day of the year and is synonymous with the celebration of the New Year in the Scottish manner.

So now that I explained what the heck Hogmanay is..... Lets celebrate the new year!!

Let's meet up at the Meewasin Skating rink around 2:00pm (1400) And we should be done around 3:00pm (1500) or whenever you want to leave! It's a great, fun, FREE winter activity in Saskatoon! So feel free to bring the whole family! If you don't have skates, NO PROBLEM! They have skates there to borrow! They are free, but they do take donations. And if you are set on not skating, thats ok too, there is a lovely heated chalet complete with wood burning stove. Also, there is a fire pit to sunggle up to outside. So feel free to stop by and visit.

The rink will be closed if the temperature dips below -31C. So if that happens we will just have to relocate this event to the nearby Timmies. I will post a note if that is the case.

We hope to see you all there!
