If you are going on the Reindeer trek, after you find this cache you'll want to head uphill following the Mount Gardner trail until you get to the mid-cross-island trail sign (on your right to head East on the reindeer trek)

What is the Reindeer Trek? It is an annual event on Bowen Island that raises funds for the local Christmas Hamper fund. People trekked across the island for a good cause... :) Start of the Reindeer Trek: trail head: N 49° 21.971 W 123° 24.818 The full Reindeer trek takes about 2-3 hours. It's recommended to wear good/waterproof shoes. The quality of the path varies. p.s. the variations in spelling of reindeer/raindear, etc. were meant as a silly/fun part of this series. Enjoy the cache series as way to cross the island, cache and learn about the island's many features.
Coords may be a bit spotty due to trees. No need to leave the trail. Use your geosenses and remember what the nickname for the island is.
