Waynedale Park
Every park should have a cache! When this cache was placed, Fort Wayne had 86 public parks listed on their website. This is number 80 on their alphabetical list. Remember that the city parks are only open from 6am until 11pm.
Park History
The dedication of Waynedale Park occurred on July 7, 1958. At that time the park area included a playground shelter, a hard surface area with two basketball goals, some playground equipment, restrooms, picnic tables and benches. Founded 1957. 8.0 acres. (Source: Fort Wayne Park's Page)
