Geocache Description:

The above co-ordinates are not the cache location. They are the location of the first stage of your journey.

Mewsbrooks park was opened to the public on the 4th June 1939.
The lake was constructed as part of a larger flood relief scheme.
The name 'Mewsbrook' is thought to originate from a 17th century landowning family named Mewe.
Brooke in this case is probably the traditional Sussex name for a water meadow or land that frequently flooded.
The main features of the park have remained unchanged since the 1940's.
Today, as when the park opened, Mewsbrook park provides an important area of open space for residents and visitors alike.

Description:
Searching for these clues will take you on a trip around the lake. I hope you get to see as much wildlife when searching as i did when working out the clues.
