Originally set to be BS #1 but ongoing construction and roadworks here put it on the back-burner for some time.
Because of the "mobility" of the bus stop I decided not to use that, so settled on this now busy location.
It's busy because there is one of Ant and Dec's favourite shops here now!
So - don your best sneaky persona and look unassuming!!!
This was the site of the old fire station - the No 2 station for Gloucester City.
It was also used by the AFS - Auxillary Fire Service, during and after WW2.
I believe it ceased to be active in the late 1950s.
For many years it was the base for a local construction firm and had deteriorated into something of an eye-sore.
Now - it yet another addition to the increasing number of shops and flats that have burgeoned in the area in recent years.
