I placed this series, as I particularly like the canal and the views at the far end of this walk. I would suggest you do this walk in a clockwise route. There is a lights controlled crossing to enable you to safely cross the road, if you leave the car park to the left. If you leave the car park by the road straight ahead, then there is a safety refuge before you cross the road to the bridge.
Please take care, with this busy road. There is an assortment of gates/stiles/mud/water. There are sheep and cattle in the fields. There may be some thorny encounters, and of course, take care near the canal too.

There is a small footpath sign on your right, from the road, through what looks like someones parking area, and then go over the stile on your left.
I've passed this way twice recently, and today, the impromptu pond in the field, had really filled up, with birds on it, and around it.
