Geocache Description:

This is one of ten caches placed for the 2015 Cache Across Maryland. Each location was picked specifically to give cachers a taste of the state and show you its beauty. By combining all ten, you'll be able to see why Maryland is truly "America in Miniature". We hope you enjoy them!

Greenbrier State Park is a Maryland State Park located on South Mountain. Located in the park is Greenbrier Lake, a 42-acre man-made freshwater lake which contains a 1,000 foot beach.



There are lots of great caches in this State Park! There are multiple trail directions to lead you to this cache (and other caches along the way). The Cache Across America cache GCX3ME for Maryland is nearby.
Depending on your route, you could make the terrain higher due to steeper elevation change. Entrance fee (per car) to the park is $3 for Maryland residents, $5 for out-of-state. The park is open from 8am to sunset.
