Come join us in celebrating the 10th year of this event!
March 21st, 2015
*** IN HONOR OF THE 1ST EVENT, WE ARE LOOKING 15CHILI COOKS ***
The only way this event will be successful is if all of you take a chance and make a pot of chili for everyone else to judge.
We all have had the great privilege to try some very delicious and unique chili's and I'm sure this year will be no different.
The FIRST 15 to say they are bringing a chili will be entered into the competition.
If you don't want to make chili but still want to bring something, extra things to eat and drink are always welcome.
The event page will be updated with a list of who’s bringing what. All preparation will need to be done before hand and brought to the event in crock pots to keep it warm.
If your not into making chili, we would welcome other food items or some 2 liters of Non-alcoholic beverages for everyone to enjoy.
When making your pot of chili, PLEASE make a pot large enough to serve approx. 175-200 people***.
Serving size approx. 1/4 cup
***doing the math that is about 3 gallons (12 quarts)
Each year several people have run out early, so be sure to come prepared for a BIG crowd.
