The cache is located at the edge of the open field left by the removal of the old Bellevue Airfield. I remember picking up our friends from Portland there after landing their Cessna. Ah, the good old days. The cache is only 70 or 80' from parking. The field is well used by dogs and their owners. So make sure you bring your dawg along.
Mar 25, 2016 - The construction going on at the moment is digging holes for exploration purposes. What will be developed (eventually) will be two soccer fields and the associated parking. The lanes cut into the forest near the cache were for allowing access to the fill placed to extend the old runway. There used to be a sanitary landfill back in there, and monitoring wells will probably be installed. Unless the current plans change, the area of the cache will not be developed. The cache will remain as is. Have fun!
