This special cache is toward celebrating my 300th hide and Happy New Year 2015.
NOTE: Criminal Trespassing - Stay away from away from the water tank and the grassy area around the tank. Do use any motorized vehicle, ride horses, set up camp, build structures, use of fire arms or spray paint, dumping garbage (feel free to pick some up) and host of other things. You should have no problems if you just hike around and enjoy your hunt for the caches in the area.
This cache is one of many caches at Grant Butte. This series is designed to give you full exposure of much of what this butte has to offer to those who like a mild hike. The black peanuts jar cache is along a trail West of a swamp or marsh area. Saw a large blue heron fly nearby as I arrived to the cache location. Perhaps if you are quiet then you might experience some wildlife from the bird blind. Please return the cache to the same location out of plain view. Congrats to h2owarrier for the FTF.
Note: BYOP, carefully open the container/baggie, sign the log, completely seal baggie with log inside, tightly close container and replace cache out of plain view to same location in description/hint.
Note: All of the trail junctions or reference points listed here can be useful when hunting for all of my caches on Grant Butte. Anyone is welcome to log better coords for any of these junctions, reference points or my caches. But do not list coords near the summit or near caches by other cache owners.
