This is a wherigo geocache you will need to download and play this wherigo cartridge. The wherigo cartridge is of the play anywhere variety. That means you may play it anywhere you like as long as you have 150 feet of open space all the way around you. You will need to be able to wander around in that open space. Near the posted location you may be able to find enough space to complete the wherigo, just be sure to stay out of the road.
This wherigo is a simple puzzle that can be easily solved in the field or in your back yard, but a pencil and paper may be helpful. The playing field is divided into 9 squares arranged in a 3 X 3 grid. There are 9 number items in the game numbered 1 through 9. As you start 2 of the numbers are already placed into the grid. The other 7 numbers are in your inventory. Your job is to place the correct number into the correct box in the grid. Instructions are in the cartridge under TASKS in the main screen.
There are wherigo caches in a number of other states that may be found using the same wherigo. Below is a map and list of states included in the wherigo cartridge.

A big thanks goes out to Rusty O Junk for letting me take part in the 15 project. I have always wanted to add a wherigo to the bike trail. Now I can check that off my list. The trail offers almost every cache type (no virtual or webcam). So now you can get 6 different cache types on the bike trail in a single day. That should qualify you for most busy day challenges. Add an Event/Cito or Mega and you could be well on your way to more than a busy day.
The cache is right at the bottom of a sign on the trail.
NOTE: This cache can only be accessed by walking, or biking. You can not access it from Route 9 - parking is ILLEGAL on Route 9. There is a fence separating Route 9 from the Bike Trail. Keep in mind that while biking/hiking this trail you will cross active roads. Please be attentive and very careful while making these crossings.
ABOUT THE TRAIL:
You will find about 70 caches along the path at any given time. The trail is hilly it is not your normal rails to trail path. The mix of terrain, cache types, sizes, and even night caches adds a layer of excitement that seasoned cachers will appreciate. Yes, variety not a power trail.
For anyone planning to tackle the trail, checking out GCBEE4X (BT2025 Trail Warm Up #1) is a must. It’s your go-to resource for:
