Geocache Description:

The cache is at the posted coordinates, however, you must qualify for this cache to claim the smiley

This is a copy cat challenge cache of my geobuddy with a twist. He owns the challenge cache- GC54WWH "East Meets West Coast Challlenge." In order to qualify for this cache, you must have found a cache in a union state and and also log a find in a state that supported the Confederacy in the same calendar day!

During the American Civil War, the Union was the term used to refer to the United States of America, and specifically to the national government and the 20 other free states and five border slave states which supported it. The Union was opposed by 11 southern slave states that formed the Confederacy. Kentucky and Missouri had two state governments, one Unionist one Confederate, both claiming to be the legitimate government of their state. Kentucky and Missouri's Confederate governments never had significant control of their state. West Virginia separated from Virginia and became part of the Union during the war, on June 20, 1863. Nevada also joined the Union during the war, becoming a state on October 31, 1864.

Union States: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin

Confederate States: Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia

Please post in your log what two caches qualify you for this challenge and the date that you found them. Here's my example: On 1/10/15 I found GC4H2YQ "Homecroft Park" in Minnesota and also found GC2VPK9 "Blue Dream" in Georgia. I have included a map in the gallery to help see if you qualify.

The difficulty rating is due to the cache requirements and hide. It is a nano that is normally rated a 2.5 or 3.0 difficulty and would not be found by a newbie.
