Forbidden Passage
This cache takes you along the Sanctuary Lakes Exercise and Nature Trail.
The trail runs between the estate and Skeleton Creek, and joins the path that runs to Altona, Williamstown and beyond. Ideally this cache would be done on two wheels, but there's also parking nearby if you come in a car.
The cache is outside a tunnel that has been locked for as long as I've known it, but evidently it was open at some point, based on the graffiti within. Perhaps it was deemed too dangerous or a hang out for undesirables? It's a shame, for I'd like to walk through to the golf course.
The reason I chose this particular spot is it's largely out of sight, leaving cachers to seek in peace.
