TENNESSEE State Star 51 Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Seanachai: Greetings from Geocaching.com,

A determination has been made by TVA that this location is no longer suitable for geocaching as it is too close to their Bull Run Steam Plant. We have been asked to archive this listing and others in the area immediately. This determination comes from an authority higher than the local TVA representative who initially granted permission for these listings. In these cases, we must respect the wishes of property owners and managers. I am therefore, archiving this listing, please pick up this cache or any remaining bits as soon as possible. If there are extenuating circumstance or if there is more information that I should be aware of, I encourage you to contact me directly.

I apologize for this unfortunate series of events, but we must respect the wishes of all property managers. I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute in the past and I am looking forward to your continued contributions to the sport of Geocaching.

Geocache Description:

***THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES***

This GeoArt is part of a Nationwide Project;
THE USA 50 STATE STAR GEOART
celebrating every state in the USA !

Our Goal is to have a "50 STATE STAR" in each state of the USA.
Look for the states that proudly display the "STAR" !

THERE ARE 3 WEEKENDS A YEAR THAT THE AREA WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE TO CACHERS!!!!

2015 HUNTING SEASON: Nov. 1-2, Nov. 15-16, and Dec. 13-14

Below there are some facts/trivia to the great state of TENNESSEE that you may/may not have known. Within, are the answers to the final coordinates to find the cache of the 50 State Star GeoArt.

HAVE FUN!!!!!!!

Tennessee's state reptile is the Eastern box turtle (Terrapene carolina). It was designated in 1995.

For the final location of this puzzle, fill in the blank.....How many letters are in the name of the turtle?

N 36° 01.442 W 084° 10.0_4

WAIT, WAIT.......You are not done yet...............

When you get to the final location you are going to need 4 words that you would have needed to acquire along your journey........................

A=There is a green sign that had the name of a near by park, how many letters are in the first word of that park? This will be the number you will need.

B=There is only one church that you were near, how many letters are in the first word of the name of this church? This will be the number you will need.

C=There is a red and white sign along your journey, how many letters are in the first word of the name of this Group, Inc.? This will be the number you will need.

D=There is a wooden sign at one of the parking coordinates above the small shelter that names the park on the right along your journey, how many letters are the name of these two words? This will be the number you will need.

Place these numbers in the above proper order and you will have what you need to finish the GeoArt.!

WE SURE HOPE YOU ENJOYED YOUR JOURNEY ALONG THE TENNESSEE STATE STAR!!!!!

(I would like to thank Joey&Deb for the contribution of most of the containers and all the local cachers for their time and efforts of the placement of the TENNESSEE State Star!)
