The path can get muddy so good walking boots or wellies may be required and it gets muddy at the start of the footpath. There isn't a lot of parking in the area so not recommended as a cache and dash. There are a few other caches in the area.
For the NFC tag, you need an NFC enabled phone.
To get the tag to work, you need to turn on the NFC. This is either in the icons in a row where the WIFI and sound etc are, or you need to go into settings --> connect and share and it should be listed on the top. Turn it on and return to main screen. Then just touch the base of the container to the back of your phone. Please do not take the tag out of the container. You may have to remove any phone cover if it blocks the tag signal.
For the Chirp, you can use either a GPSr enabled with the Chirp facility or smartphones with ANT+ technology. The chirp seems to take a while to register and download on the GPSr, so please be patient with it.
If you have neither of the above, just solve the puzzle, which you may have seen before.
Please do not destroy the area in pursuit of the cache.
