Geocache Description:

Two-stage field puzzle multi in Four Mile Creek Park.  Park closes at dusk.

Park in the lot and hike your way in.  There are only deer trails in these woods so far, so you're bushwhacking this Cachemas.

As you enter the woods, the creek is to your right (east).  That creek marks the park boundary for about a third of your hike, but then park property opens up on both sides of the water.

As this is a new park, there are no signs yet indicating where park property ends and private property begins, so pay attention to these instructions, cachers:  On your way to stage one, you'll have no worries and you may not even spot the creek.  Once you solve the field puzzle and get your coords for the final, head in a relatively straight line (why would you wander?) and you'll stay in the park, no problem.  After you make the final, cross back and stay on that side of the creek and you'll be the legal non-trespassing cacher your parents raised you to be.

If you're a bumbling, looping, perpetually lost cacher, there IS a fence marking the north edge of the private property.  So, follow the creek until you see it, then once you're north of it, you're safe to cross the water legally.

The puzzle hidden at the posted coords needs to be solved gently without much violence or it won't last long out in the bush.  I'm only able to solve it after watching a YouTube video wherein a 10-year-old kid solves it and teaches us dumb grown-ups the method.   Please replace it carefully and make sure the container is sealed. My feet stayed dry on both crossings, but I was channeling the spritely Cachemas elf. You may not be so lucky.
