On this second day of Cachemas, what could be more appropriate than two turtle doves, sort of, since they are native to Europe we had to make do!
Perhaps because of Biblical references, its mournful voice, and the fact that it forms strong pair bonds, European turtle doves have become emblems of devoted love
Turtle doves also are featured in the song, "The Twelve Days of Christmas", as the gift "my true love gives to me" on the second day of Christmas.[9] If added cumulatively, by the end of the song, the recipient has been given 22.
Since we started Geo Caching, we have made great new friends, reconnected with old friends and found and excuse for tromping through the woods, looking like fools and having fun! We wanted to share our love for this hobby by placing this memorable cache for everyone to enjoy.
You will find that both stages are being guarded by two turtle doves. At the final stage there is plenty of swag and room for trade items.
Enjoy! And Merry Cachemas to all our Caching Friends new and old!, Don't forget to check the lid for the clue for the final.
