Geocache Description:

Another simple hide in Oyster Bay in a park that has seen some amazing historical events over the years.

Apparently the site of an emergency landing area for experimental aircraft in the 1860s.

Noted for the rare golden koalas that live in burrows under the swings.

As part of your log I would appreciate if you could add a bit of (possibly apocryphal) historical and/or geographical information about the park.  

Please note that the hide is NOT on the play equipment.  Due to the exposed nature of the park please exercise a high level of stealth.  I found an eight year old and a soccer ball invaluable during cache placement.
