Peseo Gauge Traditional Cache

An easy find in a nice park and overnight camping area along the Rio Grande river below the Elephant Butte dam.  This is part of the Elephant Butte State Park so a parks passs or day use  permit is reequired. Permission to place was from Kay Dunlap park superintendent.

This is a camoed match stick holder hanging from something near a gauging station on the river. The BLM keeps  track of the river flow here when they are releasing water in the summer.
