In the story of Pilgrim’s Progress Christian gets bogged down in the slough of despond. The pack on his back became unbearably heavy as he tried to work his way out.
This is the third slough (mud hole) you will encounter on this trek from the parking lot. Don’t try walking through these holes or you will get bogged down too!!
