Too excited when waiting for Santa on Christmas Eve 2014 we decided to create our first geocache to pass the time. It was super exciting choosing the contents for the box and searching out the location.
The footpath ("Ugly Bridge Road"!) leads from the Northeast end of Hatton park down to the bus stop on the Birmingham Road. There are plenty of other local geocaches (particularly along the nearby canal towpath) so this can be added to a local loop.
This is a small size container, and a pencil and sharpener is provided. The area is pretty popular with dog-walkers but you should generally be able to spend some time searching without being disturbed.
