Jack's Hill Summit Traditional Cache

This large ammo can is placed atop the summit of Jack's Hill, a hill which I named because it sounds better than "Hill 736276".

This is the twin hill of Jill's Hill to the north. There are a few ways to get to Jack's Hill, the simplest of which being a 5 kilometer return trip with an elevation gain of 150 meters. Park at the second recommended parking spot and follow the trail north.

A more interesting way to the top of Jack's Hill could easily be combined with a trip up Mesa Butte. If you'd like to do this, park at the first recommended parking and follow the trails. Parking here could make for a nice 10 kilometer day hike, if that's what you wish.
