I left Calgary just before the flood of 2013 working in Saskatchewan. Watched CBC around the corner, filming the rising waters. My daughter lives nearby and she was out of her place for a month, she was one of the lucky ones. Calgary is known for hail, it can be a target for tornados wild fires and now flood!
This can be found in the winter only under certain conditions but is not winter friendly.
Do not park on Bowness Road.
