Location: Folks a slight switch in our plans. STRANGE will meet at a slightly new location on Thursday, January 8th. We will be gathering at Giovanni's Pizza Restaurant at 466 Main Street, Royersford (610) 948-3693 (corner of 5th Avenue and Main Street - Just 2.5 blocks from our normal location) from 5:30 on (sorry, earlier geo-birds will have to wait). We ask that you RSVP/Log your attendance by, Saturday, January 3rd - Number in your party and your home location.
However everyone is invited to "crash" our event. Many new attendees start to pick up some finds before the event, it's even better if you go as a group! There are several great caches and cache sites nearby! We always have our core followers and a constant inflow of new faces and names from as far as 150 miles around!
S.T.R.A.N.G.E. is an informal gathering to talk about geocaching and just socialize. It's a great way to get hints about caches that stump you, meet the faces behind your favorite caches (or the diabolical ones) and pointers for hiding your own caches. STRANGE is where you can share your exploits, bring collections of coins, bugs - swag, and the like, give away items - anything that you think are fun or interesting.
Donations to the door prizes are welcome. There are also some surprise games and prizes. A phenomenal menu is designed for the event by the management of the Café. They take cash and credit cards and offer individual checks. They are BYOB and offer full free bottle service, so feel free to bring the poison of your choice!
At this STRANGE cache we have a table to share your wares as well as a trade table for the exchange of trackables and collectables. We have drawings for a 50/50, door prizes and a FTF cache as prizes. Hope to see you there as you have to be there to win!
