Geocache Description:

First hide! Cache is an old Airborne capsule. Inside there's a log an few pencils. A $2 bill for FTF!

I am relatively new to geocaching. One aspect of geocaching I love is that there's often a whole other world in front of your eyes if you just know where/when to look.

For my first cache, I love the idea that 1000s of people pass this eveyday on there way to/from the city on Metro North. (There's a decent chance a train will pass as you're searching!). Another reason I like this spot is that my kids have played in Garth Park for years. This is basically a park and grab and should not be too tough.

PLEASE NOTE the cache can be accessed from EITHER in the park OR behind it via Essex Place from Garth Road. The park technically closes at dusk, so access via the parking lot on an eastern approach to cache at night. So no need to meander into the playground.

There's certainly a decent muggle factor here in the park and on the ball field...so take care

UPDATE: Shout out to the super fast Snakeman72 for FTC (12/28/14). Well done.
