This place is named after the two lords that were involved in the history of Tel-mond. Tel-Mond was founded in 1929 by Alfred Mond, later knows as Lord Melchet, a former a former British minister and president of the British Zionist Federation. The Israel Plantation Company, headed by Mond, purchased and land in the region and planted citrus orchards. The other lord was Israel Moses Sieff. who bought 800 dunams in Tel-Mond. They built their houses there, had a spirit factory, as well as a camp for Italian prisoners, and a camp for the Palmach. Now TRCI = TERAPY RIDING CENTER ISRAEL.
