This cemetery is located at Maryneal , Texas where one of the states cement plants is located. It is owned by Buzzi Unicem. Surrounded by area ranches where ranching, hunting and various other activities can be enjoyed. Maryneal was once a railroad stop along the old Kansas-Orient Railroad, that traveled from Kanas to San Angelo and on to Ft Stockton and the to Presidio, TX. The only thing left of the railroad is only a short line from Sweetwater to the cement plant at Maryneal. The cement plant is presently being increased and doubled in size to double their cement production, where most of the cement is used in the oil industry. The cemetary has burial sites for most of the pioneering families for Maryneal and surrounding area. This cache is a micro cache with a log only. Please bring your pen/pencil and a paper clip to sign and remove log. Always be respectful of the area and close and chain the gate back when leaving.
