This is the first of more to come on Ohio State Route 249. The reason for the "Beyond " part is because it will include the road beyond where it is called Route 249. In Indiana it is called County Road 40 and in the other direction it is State Route 15. However, it is all one continuous road.
At the sight of #1 (back in the 1960's) there used to be a gas station and a "Pink" store. Yes, the building was painted PINK! Anyways, the store and all has long since been removed, all except a concrete pillar that was part of where the pumps were attached.
