This cache marks the beginning of an old trail along the North side of Baril Creek. We discovered it by accident this summer, and it came in handy during our trip up to the Coyote Hills Summit! Use this trail if you wish to avoid fording the creek on your way up.
The cache itself is a clear regular size lock'n'lock wedged into a tree (about as high as a Winkelried stands tall). For those of you who have never met a Winkelried, that is somewhere between five and six feet (a Winkelried would like you to believe that it's closer to six feet). Please replace the cache securely so it doesn't fall to the ground and get lost in the never ending Canadian winter.
