Geocache Description:

This cache marks the second, larger hill you must climb on your journey to the magnifient Coyote Hills Summit.

The treeless plateau at the top of this hill offers a great place to rest and soak in the surrounding views, maybe even take a nap in the summertime! There are excellent views of Mt. Armstrong to the West and the final leg of the journey, the steep slopes leading up to the true summit. At this point, you realize that close to half the total elevation might still be laying ahead of you!

As always, please be careful and prepared for off trail travel, loose rocks and the local wildlife when attempting this cache. Follow the trail from "On the Trail to the Coyote Hills Summit" (GC5JBKQ) and read the excellent route description for "The Coyote Hills Summit" (GC5J4AF) by Brendan714.
