Excalarbor
This cache is part of the M.T. Promises series. Be sure to make a note of the clue contained on the log.
Enjoy a hike fit for a king and test your right to ascension. As befitting royalty and the theme of the M.T. Promises series, be assured that not one match tube was used in the creation of this cache.
Note: Although it is debatable whether Excalibur was actually the sword Arthur removed from the stone, one thing is for certain: He did not use force.
To reach the trailhead, turn off the main Emigration Canyon road at the Pinecrest sign. Take the right fork and follow the "Killyons" branch of the road. Drive all the way to the dead end, continuing past a place that looks like it might be a driveway. The parking/trailhead coordinates are:
N 40 47.875
W 111 42.609
The above coordinates have been entered as a waypoint for this cache. Be sure to check out two new caches enroute: Woodpecker and #68.
To avoid confusion, the image below is the location of Excalarbor and not Excalarbor itself. The tree is widely known by the name, Tridentia Apexus. Go there.
