Should we or shouldn't we? Hmmmm. It's nearly that time of year again. Time to assess where things are at and hopefully get past that nervous feeling. This is your reminder that you only have a few weeks to organise something special for your geocaching Valentine. If you are out of ideas then perhaps a relaxing BBQ at Rabbit Island to belatedly celebrate with your special other half will do the trick. Oh and there may well be other special halves here for you to chat geocaching with too.
Don't have a special other half; come along anyway this might be just the place to meet someone like minded.
This event will be held at Rabbit Island at the published co-ordinates or nearby; 3.30pm start. If someone else has occupied this spot before us please drive around until you see a large green box/trailer. It shouldn't be too hard to spot it. There will be a gas bbq available to cook your BYO dinner. If anyone wants to bring their own gas bbq please do so. Sorry but no dogs are allowed to visit gz so Ellie and any of your pooches will have to stay at home.
For all the new cachers out there who might not have been to an event before please consider coming along to meet some of the old timers and others like you who may be new to geocaching. Cache events are a fun and relaxed chance to meet others with similar interests and to learn more about this slightly odd hobby.
Event date is: Sunday 15th February 2014 3.30pm Start
Event location is: S 41° 15.921 E 173° 09.120
If the weather looks dodgy on the day we will reassess the location and advise where to meet before 12pm so please watch list this cache listing or check it before heading out just in case.
