This cache will take you to Centenary Field in Holy Cross, Clent. This 6¾ acre site was purchased from Bass Brewery in 1984 which co-incided with the Centenary of the formation of the Parish Council. The Cricket pitch was opened in 2012 and is home to Clent Cricket Club. The Club have almost completed installation of their delightful pavilion. The rest of the field together with the stretch of woodland along Holy Cross is being managed with advice from Worcestershire Wildlife Trust Conservation Officer, and Bromsgrove District Council Tree Officer.
Beware of dog walking muggles in the park!
The cache is a small plastic box near to the pond which is home to a family of ducks.
The nearest parking spot is at Holy Cross Green, overlooking the duck pond.
There are a few items for trading in the cache along with a logbook and pencil. If you take something from the cache please leave something else of equal value.
You can start lots of scenic walks from here- either into the Worcestershire countryside or up the Clent Hills.
