Geocache Description:

THIS CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES , NOR WILL YOU FIND ANY CLUES THERE,YOU SHALL FIND WATER AND MORE WATER.THE FINAL CACHE IS BY KAYAK OR CANOE, YOU CAN NOT WALK TO THE FINAL CACHE.

YOU CAN CHECK FOR THE FINAL LOCATION OF THIS PUZZLE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE TO SEE IF YOU HAVE CAME UP WITH THE RIGHT COORDS , I HATE HARD PUZZLES AND THIS PUZZLE IS EASY OR YOU CAN JUST LOOK AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE !!!!

I have named the caches after my two dog's Harley & Missy, they love to go kayaking and Geocaching. You can check their profile information: HARLEY B or MISSY N to see all the information.

Sometimes you can tell something about the cache owner by the information on the cache page. You may see caches involving math puzzles hidden by math teachers. Or you may see a music puzzle cache by a classical music history & music theory geek.

In putting together a geocaching puzzle cache , I wanted it to be easy , because I don't know a thing about puzzle caches, so here is a easy puzzle cache for the people who don't do or don't want to do puzzle caches , but love to canoe or kayak in the mangroves of Charlotte Harbor Preserve State Park.

THE COORDINATES OF THE CACHE ARE

NORTH    ab cd.efg

WEST      hij kl.mno

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SOLVE FOR THE LETTERS.

To solve for the letters , I have questions below that you shall have to find the answer to be able to solve the puzzle.

On May 2 , 2000 , at approximately midnight , eastern saving time , the great blue switch* controlling selective availability was pressed . Twenty - four satellites around the globe processed their new orders, around the world had an instant upgrade.

On May 3 , one man , Dave Ulmer , wanted to test the accuracy by hiding a navigational target in the woods. He called the idea the "GREAT AMERICAN GPS STASH HUNT" and posted it in an internet GPS users' group. The idea was simple: Hide a container out in the woods and note the coordinates with a GPS unit.

QUESTION NUMBER 1

What was the north coords used in the woods near Beavercreek , Oregon for this cache on May 3 , 2000

North ab cdefg subtract 18 77542 = the NORTH coordinates for this cache.

QUESTION NUMBER 2

What was the west coords used in the woods near Beavercree , Oregon for this cache on May 3, 2000

WEST hij klnmo subtract 20428580 = WEST COORDS

QUESTION NUMBER 3

The great blue switch* controlling selective availability was pressed. Twenty - four satellites around the globe processed their new orders, was this switch blue?

You think the switch was blue you can add the number 9 to the last number for the West coords and if you think they did not have a blue switch you can add number 0 to the last number for the WEST coords

This is the final for the puzzle cache NORTH ab cdefg WEST hij klnmo

IF YOU CAN NOT SOLVE THE PUZZLE YOU CAN GO TO THE "HINT" TO GET THE COORDS TO THE FINAL STAGE
