Geocache Description:

Three lions were shown on Henry II's shield and in recognition of this and his marriage to Henry's sister Isabella Emperor Frederick II sent the king three lions in 1235 which were kept in the Tower of London. The three lions continue to be shown on each England cricket (and football) player's badge. This has nothing to do with this cache, nor has the chance that the lions sent as the gift were actually leopards. It just explains why I chose to put the icon at the Tower.
