Welcome to the Kope Cemetery in Angola, IN. My father-in-law maintains this small family cemetery, and has done an amazing job at cleaning it up. As a child, my husband would accompany his step-father out to this cemetery to mow the lawn and help clean up around the graves. When we discussed placing our first cache, this was the first location that came to mind!
There is a small drive that you can pull up into or park along side the road on the north side of the cemetery.
THIS IS A SACRED PLACE! Please be respectful while caching! The cache is not located near a grave. If you find a fallen US flag, please stick it back into the ground. As always, please be respectful, and cache in trash out! ANY LOGS ON THIS CACHE THAT INDICATE NIGHT CACHING WILL BE DELETED WITHOUT NOTICE!
