The track from Abrahams Bosom beach has been through woodlands comprised of Swamp Oak, Bangalay, Bloodwood, ( Eucalyptus) with a mixture of Sydney Wattle , Blueberry Ash. Because of the higher rainfall than surrounding areas there are many Common Creepers, Water Vines, Apple Berry and others climbing up and over the trees in this woodland. From the Information Board onwards the taller trees stop and the heathlands take over. This is due to the wetter area near the Creeks and the soil becomes poorer , lacking in phosphorus and nitrogen as the track climbs higher and further from the wetter region.
The cache is small, bring your own pen or pencil.
Congratulations to "puddypirates" for the F.T.F. and your enthusiasm.
