The cache is located about halfway up a short hill walk called the West Ridge walk, which starts from the side of road near the intersection of Bedford St, Sommerset St, and Holmes St, just heading out of town. Please take note of the sign at start of track advising if track is open or not.
The cache is a small clear 200ml sistema container. Bring your own pen. Take the time to carry on a little further to the top of the walk and take in the view. Note there is no parking at the start of the walk - best place to park is a couple hundred metres away in the Mossburn Community Centre car park. The walk is pretty easy going (easy for the kids too) taking about 10 minutes up to the the town supply water tanks, a little further to the radio and cell antennas where you'll find the cache, and then carry on a further 10 minutes to the Trig and Sign pointing out local landmarks where you'll get a nice view of the town, riverbed, and surrounding farmland.
