Just near the bridge there is a nice picnic area.( If wet, can be mosquitoes.) It is beside the Abrahams Bosom Creek which is rich in Tannin from the Tea Trees and other vegitation up stream to the Merimbula Trig where it starts. There are some swamps nearby rich in animals, birds and snakes. A nice place to visit just before the start to Coomies walk or a swim at Bosom Beach.
The cache is small so bring you own pen.
Congratulations to "wandering stars" for the F.T.F. and thank you for the favorites. This is the start of the Coomies walk. it is 12 kms long and about 16 geocaches It will take about 2 to 3 hours or more if you spend a long time searching for a cache. There are several side trips to other caches which of course take more time. The whole trip can be done using the tracks. there is no need to go direct as there is always a track nearby. The northern sections can be done by bicycle. Not so for the southern sections. ( unless you are good). Congratulations to "wandering stars" for the FTF.
