Pi Day! Event Cache

Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) around the world. Pi (Greek letter “π”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.141592653.

We will be having different Pi Day activities including a Pie Eating Contest, we will be having lunch out at the Sports Park Pavilion.

The caches are being redone out at this park for the event. We will have 9 Physical and 3 Mystery Caches so you will be able to get two new souvenirs that day!

We also will be having a cache exchange so bring some cool caches and trade with someone!

We will have some prizes to be given away during the event.

2. 9:10 Gather at the Lowes N 33° 05.805 W 096° 06.800 so we can be ready for the Flash Mob
3. 9:23 Find the spot you are going to FREEZE
4. 9:24 FROZEN PI BEGINS - NO MOVING - VIDEO WILL BE GATHERED
5. 9:26.52 Everyone yells "Frozen Pi on Pi Day" and the Flash Mob ends
6. 9:30 Meet up at the park, give out some goodies
7. 9:45 Go over the days' events
8. 10:00 Start caching!!!
9. Noon Lunch, swap some stories, cache exchange, "pie" eating contest, and prize drawings
10. 2:00 Finish caching the park
11. 2:00 Event is over
