Geocache Description:

Welcome to the ‘Dundas Valley Trails’ Series of geocaches.  I do a lot of running throughout this remarkable trail system and I love every minute of it. I’ve placed these caches in order to give you a reason to come explore them for yourself.

These caches will take you along the Sulphur Creek trail and parts of the Monarch Trail. I recommend parking at the end of Turnbull Rd which is the trailhead for the Sulphur Creek Trail. I have waypointed parking.

Collect the information provided in each cache in order to assemble the coordinates for the final Final name and GC Code will be available soon! These caches will either be regular sized containers with lots of swag inside and lots of room for travel bugs and geocoins, or something creative and a little off the beaten path. I’ve done my best to make them winter friendly since winter exposes a whole different kind of beauty in these trails. They will also be kid friendly, so please bring the family for a great day in a natural setting.

Don’t worry about the title. Sulphur Creek sure is a long way down, but you will only have to go about 2-3 meters off of the trail. That takes you onto some steep terrain, so please be careful. However, there is a ammo can waiting for you and it is jam-packed with lots of goodies to trade. The ammo can is well concealed and please make sure it stays that way.

FOR THE FINAL: please make note of the Dundas Valley Conservation Area Fact written on the inside cover of the logbook
