Geocache Description:


No 8  in a series of caches. Some will be at sporting venues others may not.

Cathy Freeman was born at Slade Point Queensland.

Cathy is a former Australian sprinter who specialised in the 400 metres event.

Cathy won gold in both the 200 and 400 metres events at the Commonwealth Games in Canada in 1994.

She became the Olympics  champion in the 400 metres at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney

Cathy announced her retirement from athletics in 2003.

The cache is a small plastic container painted black it contains a log-book and a few swaps.

Please park well off the road as it can be busy at times.

After signing the log please replace cache to hiding spot.

Please be aware of muggles passing by.

Watch out for snakes in the warmer months.
