The decent into the inlet is steep and care should be taken, it is not all that difficult, but going out is very steep.( especially for us oldys).
This is the playground of the Mermaids It is one of the many Inlets, Gorges, Chasm, Ravines along the Eastern part of the walk. They are all spectacular, but Mermaids has to be one of the best. From GZ to look East is a wonderful view of the Ocean and it's waves. Large vines hang all about and water seeps down the rock faces.Go east and explore the inlet it is a little tough rock hopping down to the water, but well worth the effort.
